Model of a Communication System
A communication system involves the transmission of information from one point to another through a progressive succession.
Hence, the purpose of a communication system is to transmit an information-bearing signal, from a source to a user (destination).
Information Source
A message/signal originates from the information source. There are various types of message signals like – words, code, symbols, sound signals, etc.
Input Transducer
It is a device that converts one form of energy/signal into another form.
Information source produces a message signal that may or may not be electrical in nature. An input transducer is used to convert any type of message into a time-varying electrical signal.
Transmitter
The function of the transmitter is to convert an electrical signal into different aspects.
