There are a total of 12 schedules in the Constitution of India, which are as follows:
1st Schedule of Indian Constitution
- The schedule contains the name of States and their territorial jurisdiction.
- Names of the Union Territories and their extent.
2nd Schedule of Indian Constitution
2nd Schedule Provisions relating to the allowances, privileges, emoluments, and so on of:
- President of India
- The Governors of States
- Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha
- Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the
- Rajya Sabha
- Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the
- Legislative Assembly in the states
- Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the
- Legislative Council in the states
- Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts
3rd Schedule of Indian Constitution
Third Schedule of Indian Constitution contains Oaths or Affirmations for:
- Union ministers
- The candidates for election to the Parliament
- The candidates for election to the state legislature
- Members of Parliament
- Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts
- Comptroller and Auditor-General of India
- State ministers
- Members of the state legislature
